The Certification Body of the Fraunhofer IFAM becomes TBBCert

The certification body TBBCert of the F&E Technologiebroker Bremen GmbH is the assignee of the DIN 6701-Certification Body of Fraunhofer IFAM which has been carrying out certifications according to DIN 6701 for the rail sector since December 2006.

This separation from Fraunhofer IFAM has been necessary in order to fulfil the requirement of the German Accreditation Agency (DAkkS) regarding the independency and impartiality of the Certification Body.

After successfully finishing of the accreditation process in accordance with DIN ISO/IEC 17065 for the certification system DIN 6701, the Certification Body TBBCert will continue Fraunhofer IFAM`S certification business by the beginning of April 2017.

Of course this change will raise at least one important question: What are the changes for our clients and other interested parties?

  • All running Fraunhofer IFAM certificates will stay valid without any exceptions
  • All known contact person will serve you in order to answer your questions and inquiries. Please pay attention to our new contact details (Contact Details)
  • The audits will be carried out in the same manner by our experienced auditors
