TL A-0023 - the standard for safe bonding of defense products

The Technical Delivery Specification TL A-0023 “Adhesive bonding and related processes - Quality requirements imposed on manufacturing and repair companies performing work on military products” of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) was developed to ensure the quality of bonded joints in the field of defense technology.

It applies to the bonding of joined parts in the manufacture and repair of military products. It also defines minimum requirements for quality assurance and describes the procedure for obtaining operational qualification.

TBBCert has been a recognized body of the Bundeswehr Welding and Bonding Technology Control Centre at the WIWeB (Wehrwissenschaftliches Institut für Werk- und Betriebsstoffe) since 10.07.2018 for carrying out the required operational qualification of user companies.
